Community care

Community Guidelines

LGBTQIA+ is intended to be a safer social home for LGBTQIA+ adults. These guidelines set the standard we are designing the community around.

18+ community

LGBTQIA+ is for adults 18 and older.

What is not allowed

Hate speech, targeted deadnaming or repeated misgendering, outing, doxxing, stalking, threats, harassment, sexual harassment, fetishization, conversion-practice advocacy, nonconsensual intimate imagery, impersonation, coordinated harassment or false reporting, scams, spam, and targeting LGBTQIA+ venues or events are prohibited.

Identity and expression belong here

Legitimate LGBTQIA+ identity, affection, education, healthcare discussion, drag, gender expression, and reclaimed language are not inherently sexual or adult content.

Reports and decisions

Automated systems may route ambiguous material to human review; report volume alone is not proof of a violation. Members can block, report, review account status, and appeal decisions. Reports and supporting evidence are protected.

Urgent harm

Credible threats, CSAM, nonconsensual intimate imagery, stalking or doxxing, imminent self-harm, terrorism, or planned violence require escalation by trained staff when the service is operational. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
